Individual Artists of Oklahoma (IAO) is pleased to announce the 31st Annual Biting the Apple fundraiser and art exhibition. Celebrating 31 years, Biting the Apple is IAO's annual fundraiser and provides a venue for artists working in provocative and erotic subjects. Besides a fun and raunchy event, the annual Biting the Apple fundraiser is one of the longest running erotic art exhibitions in the country. Jurying this year’s fundraiser exhibition is visual artist Marilyn Artus. Artus, whose work explores the female experience, has been a burlesque promoter, past Vice President of IAO, and is a founder of The Girlie Show, a 2 day annual all female art and craft show that ran for 10 years in Oklahoma City.
Artists working in visual art, film, music, and performance are encouraged to submit.
