Kyle Larson

Better Off Lost

August 18 - September 23

Opening Reception: August 18, 6-9pm

This exhibit features a series of works that draw inspiration from travel and social/political landscapes, as well as the effects of environment and time on the world around us.

The pieces were created and revised over time and across two countries. In Larson's own words, "I don't consider any one work I make completed until it feels experienced and lived in. "

Kyle Larson is the Director of Visual Arts and Assistant Professor of Art at Northwestern Oklahoma State University. Born and raised in Sacramento, California, Larson received his MFA in Painting from Boston University in 2012. He also holds a BA and MA in Visual Art from California State University, Sacramento. Larson has lived and taught in Oklahoma for two years, and recently completed the Molten Capital Artist Residency in Santiago, Chile.

This exhibit will be on display through September 23. The opening reception for the exhibit is on August 18th, from 6-9 PM.
